is there a ...

is there a "how to" or "DIY" for installing a complete 300/touring fog light kit from mopar?

Also, is there an easier way of installing it. As in, can I just tap the wires into the ones that turn on the headlights, so when I turn on the headlights the fogs will be on too, rather than installing the whole 9 yards that includes the switch inside and what not? I dont care to have the ability to turn them on and off.. if they turn on with my headlights, thats good enough

thanks

i bought the complete kit and installed it my self. it's pretty straight foward. just remove the front splash guard under your engine. remove the cover and install the new ones thats cut for the fog lights. your bumper already has the mounting points for the fog light, just screw them unto the existing housing. pop the light switch out using a small flat screwdriver and then install the new switch. you'll have to wire up the harness/relay to the underhood fuse box. i cant exactly remember where the fuse location goes but it's on the instruction sheet thats provided. after you finish you'll have to take your car into the dealer so they can program it into the computer and you're good to go. hope this helps.
PS: i wouldnt try to wire it up by tapping into the headlights or anything b/c it's a new car and you dont want to "rig" it. it's not hard it will take about an hour or 2 the most to install it.

if you want them to trun on with the headlights. it should be really easy to do with a diode. if you can get the wiring diagram. you would just hook it up in the fuse box.

I'm not sure how safe would this be but how about using your side markers as a power source? Rather than your headlights.
