Clear Corners and the law

Hello! another question by me I was wondering if getting clear corners and color matching them get you pulled over pretty easily? It seems like a subtle modification but I was just wondering if it was something cops usually look out for..

As long as the clear side markers are yellow when your lights are turned on,
you should have no problem. Stealth Auto uses their bulbs, which are
basically clear when they are off, but shine yellow when they are on.

Where you may have possible problem is if you paint them a solid color, and
no light can get thru them, or they are no longer reflective.

You may have some cops hassling you for that, as that is not legal in most
of the United States.

You could do Silverstars, they have a bulb that is silver/bluish covering on it. Then when you turn it on its Amber. I believe its a #9145A.

If you can get pulled over for the colour of reflectors on your car there are too many cops with nothing to do in your neighbourhood.
Sounds like you need some more bad guys.
Oh wait, Britney just got her license... nuff said!

I know quite a few people who have run color matched corners for years with no hassle from the man.

Do they illuminate when the lights are turned on? Or are they painted,
and do not light up?

I have seen some where they look color matched during the day, but
once the lights are turned on, they illuminate, and look fine.

Those people don't get hassled. Its the ones whose light no longer
work the way they are supposed to work that seem to get hassled
the most.

I've have a double L.E.D. bulb with both white and blue L.E.D.'s in my clear side markers and have never been pulled over once. I also live in a community in which the police really have nothing better to do then pull people over for nothing. I'm still waiting to be the one to get pulled over cause ever damn light that is on the front of my car is blue.

I actually got pulled over in Orange, CA for that and some other stuff a few months back. I argued that they were amber and turned my lights on and he said that the sidemarker had to be amber reflective. I have the clear StealthAuto Sidemarker with Stealth Bulbs though mine are tinted blue to match my headlights. I've had my sidemarkers for over a year without a problem until that particular day. So I think it just depends on the officer...
