How about putting the OEM covers on the aftermarket LED tails?

I was just thinking about this, because I love the OEM look of the striped tail lights, ya think it'd be possible to just have a plastics place yank the OEM covers off the OEM lights, and put them onto the aftermarket LED ones for a (mostly) OEM look?

Just a thought!

will not work... also, seperating the oem tailight lens, is 10x's harder than the headlamps!

I tried this a while back for fun, I had a 1 busted up led tail and 1 oem tail, seperated both, swapped covers and it didn't fit at all. I even tried to swap out the led's inside of the (busted led tail) and tried to mount it in the oem unit, oem lens hit the LED's.. not worth it IMO..
