my NEVERending HID problem...HELP!

A few months ago i bought an hid kit, worked perfect for 2 months, then one ballast only worked sometimes. The last week i had that kit on when i turned on the headlights SOMETIMES they flickered and so did the dash lights, then they would stay on and work fine. It only did this 50% of time turning lights on.

I have a 2006 touring model, no EVIC = No need for capacitor. Remember they worked perfect for 2 months.

Last week i bought a stealthauto 8000k kit. Worked perfect for a half week. I even installed the capacitor the kit came with just incase.

Last night heading to work i turned on my lights and got a flicker from the headlights and dash lights, after 5-10 seconds, everything stayed on and no problem. I checked it again at lunch, worked fine, no problem. Now bout to leave work flicker again from headlights and dash...5-10 seconds everything stayed on. This time it made my dash lights stay on so i turn car off then on again...CHECK ENGINE LIGHT!!

This crap is getting old, i cant find any posts with people having the same problems. Someone please help me!!! i want to keep my hid's i love them.

thank you very much!

Same here. I have an 07 300C. Only one light flickers. Does anyone have suggestions on what the problem may be.

Thanks,
Dee

Update:

I found this relay kit for a 9006 in my garage from my old hid kit. Wired it up without capacitors from my stealth auto kit. They worked until i started the car and flickered for a few seconds and turned off, same as everyone else's.(Mine made the dash flicker and CEL came on). I then wired them with the capacitors with the relay kit, they have worked perfect so far!

Also, is relay buzzing normal? Mine buzz's pretty loud.

We'll see what happens when i go to work tonight.

This really sounds like it was a loose connection somewhere, possibly a dirty ground.
Glad to see you have resolved it for now.
