HID Flickering on 2006 Chrysler 300

I have a friend with a Chrysler 2006 300.The car has factory HID's.Recently the headlights have started to flicker right after startup and continuing to go on and off for at least 5 minutes.I am unable to e-mail anyone at this time because of administrator rules.I need more details on how to install the capacitor fix some have posted here.Thanks.Bill.

The capacitor does not apply to factory HIDs. Why not just bring it to the delership under warranty?

Also, to my knowledge, factory OEM HIDs are not an option for the 300 model. I believe your friend's car has an aftermarket HID conversion.

Thumbs up Flickering OEM Hid

I had the same problem on my Magnum with the 300C front end.
I got the HID Lights by misstake and got big problems with flickering headlights.

My car did not have the Hid light from the beginning.
What i did was to put two relays one to each side and a 3300 UF 25 Volt capacitor.

This solved my problems.
