I just had my bumper off to put in the new 6000K HID headlights and 3000K fogs I got from Stealth - now my foglights are all lined up way wrong. When I had the bumper off I could see some of what looked like adjustment screws but they are not accessible from the front from what I can see.
How are we supposed to get these things lined up? Is there a way to do it without taking off the bumper?

You "should" be able to access the area from below by removing the engine pan and the fascia skirt pan (4 bolts for the engine pan, and about 10 nut-head screws, plus 6 plastic rivet things for the fascia skirt.

I would think that IF you merely replaced the bulbs with the HID bulbs the alignment and aim would not change... At least that's what happened with my headlights... and I did not have to take the bumper off to do the job (headlights anyway).
With my Magnum I found that alignment was screwed up on the OEM halogen headlight bulb simply because it wasn't turned completely in (it was about 1/8 turn from being completely seated). Could that be the problem with your HID fogs?

Yeah, Me too, put some new bulbs in and the allignment was screwed up. Turns out I didn't get the bulb seated properly. I didn;t realize it would mess up the allignment so much. Good luck.
they did not seat easily when I put them in - seems that the H10 base from Stealth is a bit off from the H10 socket in the fogs. I will take it apart again to re-mount the ballasts anyway so I will take a closer look then. Thanks!

It may be the O-ring thickness. When I got the HID headlights for my MSRT8, the Stealth O-rings were too thick. So I just removed the stock O-rings from the halogen bulbs and used them on the Stealth bulbs. No problems then. You might try the same trick.

that could be it. it just seemed like the notches did not align right the first couple of times I tried putting them in. But I verified that the bases say H10 so I am assuming there can only be one H10 right?

hey pugnacious, can you post a pic of ur 300C with the lights and fog lights both turned on,, i would like to see what your combo of HIDs look like. thank you
Yeah, I can once I get a decent one. Car's been in the shop for the last couple of days. I will get one tonight when you can really see what they look like. I love the 6000K look, but just wish that the 3000K were a little yellower - to me they look like the Halogens they replaced. But then again, it may be because they are aimed all weird and such.
