HID kits finally installed

First off, many thanks goes to 300CSRT (Rob) for finding these HID kits, for such a great price.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/HID-C...mZ170175385686

A huge thanks goes to my buddy Bo for helping me get these kits installed correctly.

The fog (H-10) HID set, the transformers polarity was backwards to the OE fog light connectors. We simply cut and swapped polarity on the OE fog connectors so they would properly click lock into the HID tranformers. They fired right up, no flickering, worked like a champ.

The 9006 low beam HID set, the transformers were the same as the fog set. So we swapped polarity like on the fog HID set. This time we got flickering and the HID would not stay on. Thank goodness I had Bo there. In no time at all he made me a set of custom fuse harnesses and then we went to test the HID again. BAM, they fired right up and no flickering since then.

Here is both sets fired up, during the day, in the shade.

Then I waited until nightime to take more pics.

Fogs only. I ordered the 8K HID.

Low beam and fog. Both 8K HID's.

lets us know how long they last or if you run into any problems. $25 is pocket change, but they are making about $40 off the shipping

See my Stealth Auto installs for their HIDs headlights and fogs in their forum... the same thing had to be done with the power connections. I went with 6000k. 8k was/is too blue for me.

They work perfectly. No problems at all once the resistors were added for the 9006 low beam kit. The H-10 fog kit was plug and play. At these prices for the kits, you can't go wrong. I was able to get both HID kits for one car, for what others are paying for one kit.
