Cue, I had the same question when I got my 300c. Here's the link http://www.300cforums.com/forums/ext...ease-help.html.
When I realized I did not have stock HID's, I just ordered a pair from stealth. You will not be dissapointed. Here's another link with them installed. My StealthAuto 6k HID's installed w/ PiCS!
Are you a Firefighter? Welcome aboard!

by the way, if the headlights dont come with the ballast+bulb, can i buy a HID kit (from stealth auto for example) that are D2S size?

i know i might not be able to mount the ballast in the factory headlamp location, but thats fine, as long as i can buy the HID kit

thanks
I would ask the seller what the bulb size is. That should tell you. Non HID will use a 9006 and the factory HID will use a D1S. Not sure where you referenced a D2S bulb?

I wouldn't depend on "Xenon", being on the tag, actually being a factory HID.. I know most people on EBAY through in the word into their halogen bulbs. The bulbs below are NOT HIDs but say Xenon

eBay Motors: Xenon HID Light Bulb 9005 Hi+9006 Low Beam 100W 8000K (item 160193119146 end time Dec-30-07 08:40:06 PST)

And the actual HID has almost the same title.. XENON HID..

eBay Motors: XENON H1 H3 H4 H7 9004 9005 9006 HID CONVERSION KIT (item 290193271594 end time Dec-30-07 08:30:00 PST)

Edit: Bulb replacement chart

No need to line them up, they are simply plug-n-play and fit perfectly into the OEM assembly.
I personally think that HID conversion is the best and most noticeable mod ( REFERRING TO EXTERNAL MODS ONLY, NOT PERFORMANCE). Also, it's a rather inexpensive one too. Even if you have stock HID, I'd rather have 6000k or 8000k.

cool... iv always liked 5000k good light output... 6000k looks great but i dont wanna lose 25% of the light output.
