I paid 145$ shipped because I didn't contact him first, my own fault. I think you have to send him a message first to save 2 dollars a pair. I didn't feel like delaying them once I decided to pull the trigger. I ordered them Friday around 11am and they were at my door monday11am. Pretty good if you ask me.

For anyone interested in these lights and the discount. Contact HIDGATE through ebay. Tell him; bulb sizes, color (K rating), year and make of vehicle, and finally request a Paypal invoice from him. That way you save a couple bucks. Mine should be here today!

wow...saving $2 a pair...now there's a discount that can't be beat lol...honestly they make a killing on the shipping...jack up the shipping so that they don't have to pay Ebay a percentage of that...and refuse to give a decent combined shipping...for the price of shipping on one unit..you can get 5 pair shipped for that amount..go figure

I'm sure the HIDs are great but the vendors are always getting over on ThiefBay

These units are truly plug and play. If you can change a light bulb you can do this mod. The only difference is finding a place to mount the ballast. You just use the 3m tape and find a place to stick it near the light, it is not hard at all. good luck G

new poster...all posts in their own thread....sounds like you're pushing a product.....don't get me wrong I'm sure you're thrilled about the HIDs but most members first post is an introduction or a question...call me skeptical considering I still have issues with the $2 discount

I have no affiliation with hidgate. I live on the east coast and the lights come from the west coast. As a matter of fact I found the seller on this forum while I was looking for the best place to purchase hids. I found this forum very helpful and thought It would be the right thing to share my expirience. Excuse me if I didn't follow your new member protocol. Maybe new members shouldn't post at all and all you senior members can just talk to eachother without any new info from people who just purchased the car. Also you sound like an idiot with your 2$ no combined shipping complaint when the fact is 71.98 or 69.98 for two pair are the cheapest hids that I have been able to find. Its the bottom line that matters, I think everybody knows that they don't cost 30$ to 50$ dollars to ship.

For someone new to the forum you are very hostile and thin skinned. If you truly wanted to help out, you'd read the forum and notice that a member who just purchased this unit is having ISSUES. Your inability to respond without letting the world know your feelings were hurt by my posts in your thread only shows your lack of maturity. If you can't refrain from calling members names because you lack communication skills, you might reconsider posting prior to a notification to the moderators. YES, I mentioned the INFLATED SHIPPING prices. YES, I am leary when new members only post are to try and sell a product. NO, this product hasn't proven itself to members as of yet. YES, THERE IS A MEMBER WHO JUST PURCHASED THIS PRODUCT AND IS HAVING PROBLEMS WITH THE UNIT. Come with something more informative versus crying about my response in your thread.

Didnt get my SPECIAL DIGITAL HARNESS
hey guys I got one of those kits from HID gate and Im not sure but I dont think I got my SPecial digital harness... not sure what it is but I dont think I got it because my HIDs dont work completely. THe thing is I installed them like normal and then I found out i had to reverse the polarity which actually got it working. I didnt know that the lights only worked when the car's engine isnt on. When the engine is on the lights flicker and then eventually go off in a matter of seconds. I asked the seller if I could actually get the special digital harness but if they have me pay that horrendous shipping for something thats supposedly free I think I would try an alternative way to get it to work. I heard that it is possible to introduce a capacitor to each side of the lights so that it pretty much solves the problem. I say NYC SRT8 do something but I have no idea how to get to that black clip looking thing. Well if anyone could give any input that would be really helpful, I hate driving with my parking lights its scary!
