yeah you need 2 of those capacitors. 1 for each kit. and when you install the capacitors you are reversing the way you install it if you follow the thread that shows you how to put the capacitors. I had to learn the hard way by making one of my capacitors blow up and I had to waste a trip to radio shack >: |
I jumped on the bandwagon and ordered a set of HID low beams for my Charger, order placed at about 4:30 AM, 2-20-2008, with HIDGATE, on eBAY.
A lot of people on here and chargerforums.com have ordered from him, and most people have had to sign for the package.
My kit was sent with no sig. required.
According to the USPS website, the package was delivered to my house on 2-23-2008 at 9:08 AM.
I worked that day until 3PM, and I got home at about 3:30, found no package.
Following day I check the website nd it updated with the 2-23-2008 delivery info, so now I go back outside looking for the package at both entrances of my appt. building, the close-by buildings in my appt complex (in case it was left at the wrong building by mistake), and nothing.
Sent e-mails to HIDGATE, and apparently, that astronomical $48 shipping fee DOESNT INCLUDE INSURANCE, so he's telling me to check with my neighbours, and to check with the post office.
I did check with the post office and now they're throwing the blame back on the seller / shipper (understandably) as it should've been sent requiring a signature.
Meanwhile I was stuck working on a Saturday that I didn't even make $72 on, and now I'm out that $72 with nothing to show for it (and I was helping out by working due to personnel shortage, I should've had the day off)
I really think that HIDGATE should step up and sent out another kit, this time requiring a signature, or send it to my work, where I'm at over 10 hrs a day.

Anybody think I'm being unreasonable ?
well i have experienced this more than once. I dont dount hidgate sent these. You may want to check and make sure the address setup in paypal and in your ebay preferences are you current address. A lot of people make the mistake and forget to change their address and the item goes to the old address.
I have also heard of people getting items stolen off of their porches etc. Or an attempt to deliver but you would have received a sticker saying an attempt was made.
Lastly if this isnt the case always remeber it is the sellers responsibility to make sure the item gets to you if it is your fault or not. So you can make claims on ebay that you never received the item or make a claim on paypal but i would only do that if something isnt worked out. Its verdy difficult being a ebay seller the buye always has the upper hand.

The address is the same, no change there.
I'm currently waiting for HIDGATE's response after I sent him an e-mail today at lunch asking him to send another kit and this time require a delivery signature.
I just got my kit from hidgate and from everybodys experience he has been a good seller. I do think he should have sent the package with insurance. He's been getting a good rep from all of us lately so I think he should send u a new kit with insurance and requiring insurance

We'll see ...
good luck brotha i dont think hes gonna want to fork over a free set. I know your upset but put yourself in his shoes, think about if you shipped it and it said delivered and never actually made it. But you should be considered under $100 in insurance for not receiving the item from usps,
