Didnt get my SPECIAL DIGITAL HARNESS

hey guys I got one of those kits from HID gate and Im not sure but I dont think I got my SPecial digital harness... not sure what it is but I dont think I got it because my HIDs dont work completely. THe thing is I installed them like normal and then I found out i had to reverse the polarity which actually got it working. I didnt know that the lights only worked when the car's engine isnt on. When the engine is on the lights flicker and then eventually go off in a matter of seconds. I asked the seller if I could actually get the special digital harness but if they have me pay that horrendous shipping for something thats supposedly free I think I would try an alternative way to get it to work. I heard that it is possible to introduce a capacitor to each side of the lights so that it pretty much solves the problem. I say NYC SRT8 do something but I have no idea how to get to that black clip looking thing. Well if anyone could give any input that would be really helpful, I hate driving with my parking lights its scary!

Sorry to hear this...you might want to make contact with the vendor. If not keep bumping your post so a more knowledgeable member can answer. Goodluck

The digital harness, is two wires with a white plastic cap and an inline fuse. Should have came with the kit. Email HIDGATE and see if they will send it asap.

I don't know if you did or didn't but you need to tell him your make and model when you purchase because not all cars need this harness. Sorry to hear about your problem, let us know how the customer service is. I'll post a picture of the relay I got from them when I purchased a week ago.

Shoot him and email, I'm sure they take care of you. Did you mention year and make when you ordered?

Just go to radio shach and buy 2 4700uf capacitors, splice them in to the harness you got with the fuse, + of the cap to positive-red wire and - to ground-negetive, this should do the trick and you don't have to wait for harness from China or somewhere else.
