Need advice on Fog kelvin choices.

Hey guys, need some advice here. I'm going to get some HIDs for the fogs this week but can't decide which kelvin to choose from. I currently have 6000k for my lows and was interested in some 8000k for the fogs. Will this look stupid, dumb and horrible? I just like how the 8000k looks but also know it will not give me the proper lighting that is needed for the purpose of "Fogs". We don't get any fog here in my town. Should I just stick with a matching kelvin and get the 6000k? Does anyone else have different color kelvins for their lighting?

Most people shoot for having the same Kelvin temperature. I'd go with the 6000 fogs.

My preference is to match them but I've seen guys use different Kelvins for fog and low beams.

my lows are 6k and my fogs are 6500k from xenon depot

6500k has a very slight purple almost a white pink...looks great

I wouldn't mix them. Plus as the kelvin temp increases the usable light output decreases, making the bulbs less effective at lighting things up. Always worth noting.
