can i use the power from my side markers lights. the ones on the outside of the bumper to power both halos? or will it draw to much power from those lights?

from what i understand doing some reading, ( I just bought some halos) You really should use the side marker as a trigger and put a relay..

that way the relay gives you power directly from the battery, and the markers trigger the switch to turn them on and off... I could be wrong... Guys??

Mine are hooked up to the wiring to the bumper side markers and works just fine but when I get the fog halos I want to have all the halos connected to the battery directly and to a switch inside the car so I can turn the halos on at anytime. I am going to have it throught that the halos shut off when their is no key in the ignition.

No need to use a relay if you are tapping the side markers. If you are going directly off the battery you should use a relay (ie: installing a swith)

AACStyle, hmm couldnt you just wire it using a relay and then trigger that relay from your side markers? Shoot I dont know you guys know more than i do. I was always told to run stuff like that directly off of battery...

ie. Battery to relay, then the side marker wire to the relay act as a trigger when on to draw power from battery/ off is off....

wire them straight to the side marker lights then you can delete the orange blinker light and only have it coming on when you put the turn signal on.. it looks hott now
