Has anyone installed HID's with SmartBeam?

Hey gang,

I am just curious if anyone here has installed HID's into the projector low beams on a car equipped with SmartBeam and if so, does the SmartBeam system still work? If the answer is no, then I guess I won't be going with HID.

I am thinking it shouldn't be a problem, seems that the low beams are always on and SmartBeam just turns on the highs and adjusts thier brightness to acheive the level that the camera deems appropriate.

I installed a kit in my 2008 300c projectors. Smartbeam still works fine.
