I actually have a factory installed HID system, so it looks different. I believe I DID see the star screws by the high beam bulbs though. The low beam HID bulbs that I am replacing are model #D1S and look like such:
As far as removing the airbox goes, the power steering resevoir is DIRECTLY behind my bulb. I can't see myself not moving it, since there is only 1/2" working room behind it.

You must be going to a higher color temperature. I have the OEM HIDs on the H.E., but have no interest in changing them. Always did wonder what they looked like under the rubber boot though! LOL
On the MSRT8 I only went with 6000k color, they're a pretty good match to the OEM HIDs, but they appear to be ever so slightly more blue than the OEMs.
Yes, moving the black little reservoir is easy. In fact, with the air box out there is a "made for it" slot in the front of the coolant reservoir for hanging the thing until you're done.

Yeah, I did see that and I am going to 6000K bulbs. When removing the airbox, what about that 1/2" thinner tube that goes from the side of the engine, to the airbox? Can I just pull it out of the airbox?
