Still have a goofy HID problem

So I put a couple of 4700uf capacitors on each of the 12v power supply wires going into the ballast. *Poof* Like magic, my HID's stay on even when the car is turned on and they no longer flicker.
However, there is a pretty loud buzzing/humming sound coming from the relay, but ONLY WHEN THE CAR IS TURNED ON. Turn the car off and the buzzing goes away as if it were never there. If anyone can help me on this one that'd be great... I'm stumped

It's definitely coming from the relay. The buzzing creates a vibration from the relay similar to a cell phone on vibrate mode; only it's so loud that it can be heard from under the hood outside the car from 10ft away. What really confuses me though is why it doesn't do it unless the car is turned on.

All of them do it? Hell, I'd be willing to buy a whole new kit to make this stop. It's really loud. I love the light output but I don't think I can keep em in while they're buzzing so loudly. When I'm driving 35mph with the window down and no music playing, it sounds like my car's being chased by a bunch of hornets.
I had this exact kit in my 96 Mark VIII and it never made a sound.

try insulating the capacitor, wrap a bunch of electrical tape around it. its what i did, cuts down on noise, this was months ago and its still working smooth

That's not a "goofy" problem... 'cause this GoofyTL has never had that problem with the Stealth Auto HIDs!

Unusual problem... or from the "sound" of it (from others) an "usual" problem is a more accurate description.

But I'm just Goofy.... ya know.

LOL

LOL

Well then I guess I'll try some Stealth HIDs in a month or so.
The noise seems to be getting quieter with time too... :/
