INterior LED map liGhts

Is anybody running the interior LED map lights in their 300..could you post some pix and give an honest opinion on how well you like/dislike this product..also what is the price you paid for your LEDs

i don't know what you are referring to when you mean "map lights" but i am running LED is all my interior lights except for the vanity mirrors. i bought them based on this thread:

And how's that working out for you? Was thinking about the LEDs, but was concerned about lifespan, etc.

LEDs are supposed to last a LOT longer than a standard filament bulb.
Something along the lines of 50000 hours or something. (?)
It's plenty of time.

I went with the Festoon Based 48 LED SMT Array Bulbs from www.autolumination.com Tail Light Brake Light Turn Signal LED Bulbs. They look great and are very bright. You do however have to remove the reflector out of the light housing... not that hard. I don't have pics but I could probably take some if you really wanted to see.
Oh yeah... I also recommend getting some clear double sided tape and taping the LEDs to the lens so they don't slide around in there.

i just saw a PUTCO pure light led video that seem way simple.
there was no removal of the chrome/silver reflectors..could it really be that simple??
