I can understand where he's coming from in a way. I know the last thing I want driving home at night is some jackass coming my way with blazing purple headlights that might as well have been derived from the sun coming at me.
However, I put some 4300k's in my C and love the light output- granted, they aren't blinding people since the car has projectors - which is why we got the HIDs in the first place. Where I live, if you drive in one direction for longer than 5min you're going to find yourself out in the middle of bum****egypt. At night it gets pretty d@mn dark out there... until I roll through at least

I know that one all too well. Sometimes when I pass somebody on the highway to work their lights are so bright I can't even see my lane the last sec before they pass by. There are more deer than there are street lights on the sides of the roads out here where I live. I know its even worse in some parts of montana where your at!

I guess that's where I was comming from... I have projectors.. C's come with HID's if so optioned.. It's FULLY LEGAL for me to do the HID swap out..

On the flip side, it is NOT LEGAL for a car with standard Halogen's to install HID's. Unless the law has recently changed, the DOT is very much against installing an HID bulb into a standard reflector halogen setup (again, to the point that it's illegal) the reason being that reflector capsules do not have the razor sharp/straight cutoff that projectors have. And thus you wind up blinding oncomming traffic unless you properly adjust the lights at a more downward angle. (still illegal, but at least you won't blind someone as bad).

And Jamal,

You must have thin skin.. I swear... You rant the same post in two seperate threads, verbatim, even though NO ONE was talking about you OR your car... When I correct you when you go on a tirade about AAC Halo's you have to make a response and say that you don't want to offend me? Who's the one offended? I'm not the one making posts about "Haters" LOL!

And Moose I'm with ya man... I'll tell you my straight up opinion and I honestly don't care if you like it or not, that's why it's MY or YOUR opinion! I hate the word "Haterz" almost as much as I hate "Gangstas"

Ha ha, I love it. Nice post. and that goes for Hemi adict and Maistro. You all make a lot of sense.

I might be the Simon Cowel of the forums. I don't sugar coat anything...I don't want to be an azz hole either. And I do want people to tell me how they feel about my stuff. I've learned a lot from people being very forward to me.

Back to the lights, If they are done right and they don't shine any brighter than factory Xenon's I guess it's not a big deal. It's all the others that look way too bright and stupid. I know people get on here and say "where I live you need them" bla bla bla. We've all been able to drive within the law of light brightness for the last 50 years. Why all the sudden do we NEED a brighter light than the next guy because we live in BFE??

Moose.

Hey Jamal just looked at your pics and I think your car looks good. I don't think anyone here was refering to your ride at all. I'm pretty sure that you have seen yourself what Inferno07 was talking about. There are some cars out there with HID lights that look stupid as h**l, trust me I see them all of the time. I think that most of them are just cheap and that you get what you pay for. If you have a good set then you're on the right track. As far as the word "Hater" i'm tired of it myself and i'm only 35.
