Stop With The Aftermarket Xenon Headlights! They Are Cheap And Fake Looking!!!!!

Lately I have seen everything from base 300's to Hummers with aftermarket Xenon headlights and people, they look horrible. They are too bright, fake looking and make you look cheap. You are way better off keeping the headlights that came with your vehicle. Don't be an imitator!

Thanks, lol

...coudnt agree more with Moose. Some of these aftermarket parts are simply rubbish and thats putting it mildly. Ive tried a few clear side markers and they all develop moisture in behind the lens. Same said for the cheap Chinese Mirror Cover Indicator assemblies. Just a **** fit and when you look at it, they just cheapen the car. Large gaps simply dont look good when theres supposed to be a tight snug fit...just commenting on my own experiences.

Exotica, have you tried the Stealth Auto clear side-markers? They had a problem with moisture (particularly in the passenger side markers), but then they identified the problem and solved it. I haven't had any moisture issues in those installed on the H.E. for well over a year.

I also have installed their 6000k HIDs in the MSRT8 headlamps and fogs. I don't see any significant difference in the cut-off and aim of the HIDs from the OEM bulbs, and I think they look killer. The service guys at my local Dodge dealer have been aksing me about them, and the Service Manager plans to get them on his '07 Plum Crazy Charger RT.

I know you are just messing around... but maybe I'm not clear on my thread. I love the fogs and stuff, it's the headlights that are BS. They are too bright, too purple, too fake, too stupid looking,...you get the drift. And everyone knows what HID Xenon's come stock on what vehicles anyway. So when you see a Mustang, Charger, etc. with HID Xenon's it's already a joke.

Oh, and I forgot, those guys with their trucks with them

WTF.....

I personally beleive that ALL (ever single vehicle made) should have High Intensity Discharge Lighting from the factory. Lighting is a safety feature, the more (better and properly aimed) light that you can put on the road, the more safely you can drive at night.

Now, 10K HID's are ridiculous (and illegal) but you can bet your azz that 6K's are going on my 300 that for what ever fricken reason, wasn't ordered with factory HID's.

And for the record if I put 4K HID's in my 300C I can absolutely guarentee that you would never know they were not OEM (6K sure, you will notice the very slight violet tint, but I've also seen these OEM on numerous vehicles).

Well if wanting HID's makes me trailer trash then welcome to Hemi Addicts Honky Tonk Redneck Doublewide! Purely joking. I kinda like HID's, I agree some guys get rediculous and some, (done right mind you) look kinda classy IMO. Thats my 2c's anyways.

thanks for the info on the side markers mate. I havent yet seen any here in Australia that i could honestly say the quality of the aftermarket parts are even closely comparable to factory. Maybe one day we will be luck enough to have a part supplier here that stocks decent products.

Yeah! What he said! - except I'm going with 4300K to get the most light. Color, I don't care about. (Well, wouldn't want amber! ) I want the most light.

Now, Moose, if you're just talking about the ridiculously purple (and unsafe/illegal) 10-, 12-, 20,000K units, then I might agree. Otherwise, it's their ride! Who cares? You want them hatin' on your LED interior? Any 300s come with them stock?
