my car has pink eye

my 300c with HIDS has one pink light
it starts out white then it starts to turn pink
and then goes all the way pink
is the bulb about to die?
anyone else have this problem?
im going to take to the dealer soon
hope the lifetime bumper to bumper works on this

Only way to know for sure would be to swap the bulbs left to right.

Is it factory or an HID kit?

My HID kit has the same problem. Its an 8000k kit. One side is 8000k blue. The other starts out blue for the first few seconds, then turns purpleish white.

I thought they sent me a 6000k bulb but when they sent me a replacement, it was the same.

I have the stealth auto slim 8000k kit.

my car is totally stock
stock HID's, only thing changed is the CAI i installed like a year ago
just did it the other night
havent taken it to the dealer yet
but will soon

i had a aftermakret HID bulb do this...its the first signs of it die'in..mine died soon later. goodluck just hit up the dealr

I have 8000K Kaixen kit and when 1 died it was the same purplish for a couple of days, then out. I did order an IntenseHID 8K kit for my fogs and theirs was more of a purplish white than the Kaixen.

I ended up swapping out the Intense bulbs for another Kaixen kit and and am very happy with the look.

i wish i could have taken a pic but i had surgery and was out a couple days so now it doesnt go pink anymore it gets REALLY bright then flickers then cuts off for a sec then comes back on and starts the cycle again
somtimes it will just stay off
i figure the bulb has gone bad
or maybe the ballast
i need to take it in after i recover
