I've seen two people with ebay ccfl halos and they looked pretty good, especially for the money. Now the LED halos are not very bright and you wouldn't even know they were on in the daytime. AAC style halos are great and probably better then anything that you will see off of ebay. However AAC halos are gonna cost you more money considering you have to pay for the install unless you plan on doing this yourself. If money isn't the object here then the AAC halos are for you cause you will be more then satisfied but if money is an issue then the ebay CCFL halos are not bad at all and you will be more then happy. I myself do not have halos yet. I want to buy some but haven't pulled the trigger yet cause the inside of my headlamps are painted and there has been reported issues of the halos not staying glued to the headlamps all that well over time. I'm still weighing the thought of doing it.

yes the aac type seem extreemely super sexier but i havent researched all that deep into whats involved in installing em- how long and expensive(materials) would you say the whole process is. and more importantly when is the GB gonna happen and will i be able to get my kit i need to have em installed by the begining of june for the local anual car show.

also i found some that say theyre 4x brighter than reg. halos at 7000k(whatever that means) are they still lame or what

CCFL's are way brighter then the LED halos. LED halos are two led's at the bottom of the halo the creates the light and the brightest LED's in the world that small are no match for the CCFL halos. CCFL are just like your typical fluorescent light that you see everywhere around you. They are bright and they are emitting light from the entire halo unlike the LED ones. So to answer your question LED are not better or the same as the CCFL ones. Hope this helps
