Retrofit Projectors and HIDS

I had my OEM headlights retrofitted.

This is what they did:

I would put a set of factory chrysler 300c hid projectors. These are made by valeo and have a very distinct cutoff line, I did a special retrofit for a client a while back that used these projectors and they turned out great. The size of the projectors is perfect for this application and the back of the retrofit still looks factory

For the bezel I use a chrysler crossfire projector bezel. They come chrome painted from the factory but I usually paint these black, because of how I have to install them. I could paint these any color though, it is hard to keep them the factory color as after handleing them for a few minutes the factory color rubs off

The problem is, if we go with the chrysler projectors they are d1c bulb size, and I would have to get a d1c hid kit. So many people add projectors to there headlights but do not include the correct hid bulb size for the retrofit. If you are going to do a correct retro adding true hid projectors with factory hid bulbs is the only way to go.

Those look sweet! I never liked how chargers didn't come with projectors. Nice work.

Now if that could be done with the Magnum headlamps, there would be a lot of folks all over that!

Nice job!

Great and proper work. HIDs have been around for well over ten years. Inexcusable that the Magnum and Charger and base 300s don't have projector HIds. Same goes for charging extra for window curtain airbags that do not even include a side airbag. No surprise, it is Chrysler afterall.
