Fog Light Install

I just received my fog lights and what is the best way to detact the fascia.. I've seen a couple of different methods.

Also what do dealers charge for the starscan to turn on the fog lights.

Thanks in advance....

How-To: Grill installation and fascia removal

That's one of the best write ups I've seen. It's really not hard to remove the fascia at all.

Don't know the answer about the charge for the starscan though.

from what i've heard from some car club members, dealers typically charge $60-80.

we are fortunate here in houston to have some great dealer partners with our car club that charge much less than that.

installing the foglights doesn't require you to remove the facia, just the front most part of the belly pan.. I just did mine 2 weeks or so ago and it was a breeze, plenty of room underneath there to do what is necessary the mopar instructions even show you not needing to remove the whole front end.
And I got them turned on for free at my dealer because I know the Chrysler tech.... so I am not sure on that one.

I wonder if you go in there for an oil change and ask them to do it if they'll charge extra.

thanks!!

I appreciate the feedback.. I installed them this monday that just past and now I'm riding around perpetrating like my fog lights work in Mclean, VA

I wish I could swing past the dealer up here.. but it my mom's 50th birthday..so the whole family is together and yada yada.

I can't wait until monday so I can dish out some dough to the chrstler place in VA beach, VA. They are going to rob me with this labor to use the starscan.. I wish they could give it to me and I would do it myself in the back of the car lot.

But hey you gotta pa to stunt..lol

p.s... I saw a conversion kit for the mopar fog kit to change them to HID. You keep all the mopar part but change the lights and the plug in the convertor..

Are these kits legit or what?

I know just got the mopar fog kit and ready to change.....I'm just wondering
