Where to secure the HID ballast?

I have a 2007 Chrysler 300 Touring. Where and how do you secure HID ballast under the hood? Does it get hot? Can I tuck it under the headlight assembly?

How do you take out the headlight assembly? Its hard to work with the headlight assembly. Thanks.

You have to remove the front bumper in order to get access to the mounting screws for the headlight. Once you remove the bumper the headlights are relatively easy to work on. Good luck.
