Different Headlight Types?

Hey guys.. i recently acquired 300c front and rear fascias for my 300 base .. gettin some dual exhaust in the back and now im looking at headlights for the front. i was just wondering wut i should be lookin for as far as the headlights go. any insight onto wut in all i am going to need? im thinking i will get the housing from Auto Parts Stores – Import Discount Automotive and Car Parts and lookin at stealth auto bulbs; however, wut else should i be looking at to get these 300c headlight bulbs etc to work on my base 300. thanks

Might as well throw some SRT8 badges on there while you are at it. Maybe an emblem from an F-16 or the spaceshuttle.

Ugh.

Well.. actually considering the 08 tourings have the same bumpers as 300c's i would not look like a poser at all and it looks alot nicer. Just like putting rims on our cars or a new grill. Now u just look like a big l=ag

Ugh.

thanks for the insight

nope, 08 limiteds have the same lights / bumpers as the C's and STR8s, the base and tourings have the same square lights that they did from 05 through 07

which 300 light you have?

the Halogen or the HID?

the casings look the same but the wire harness and the bulbs are different.

got any pictures of what you are doing? might help sort out what you need.

as for those complaining about putting the C/SRT fascia on a base/limited/touring.. get off it, tons of people do it because the fascia is much classier looking...

it's his car, let him do what he wants.. I never will understand the need for people to bash someones ride or choice in modding.. makes no sense..

Amen. I believe that you can do whatever you like to your car because it's your car. And I didn't know that the new 3.5 models have the same styling as the Cs. I still don't understand why they would make each model have different parts in the first place if its the same car.

But anyway, back to the conversation at hand. Others here can help you with the bulb question.

thnx MR. I... well this is one of the things im in the process of deciding. which lights would u recommend? i havent ordered any yet and just trying to find out wut will work on my ride.. i think HIDs would be kool but i wanna see my pricing options first. any ideas for sites where i can buy headlights for an alright price?

All i have right now is the front fascia... i already have foglights so i can slide those in my new bumper, side markers can be swapped in too. just lookin at my options for headlights, bulbs, and any extra wiring i may need to get my new lights to work. any help or options would be great

the "C" fog lights are not the same as yours, the mounting bracket is very different and yours are 4 inch round the "C" is 5 inch round..

as for lights, I would suggest getting the Halogen lamps and then getting a plug and play HID kit for it (9006 bulb) off ebay, the OEM HID's are a D1S bulb and the retro fit is VERY expensive (lights new from dealer are $968 EACH from dealer) and the wiring is a bitch..

the Halogen "C" lamps are the same wiring as you already have (9006 bulbs) and you can get a good HID 9006 conversion kit from several vendors here..

the projector is basically the same on the halogen and HID with the exception of the bulb bracket and mount. and the OEM HID's have the ballast housed in the bottom of the casing..

if you need the Fog lights (which you will) hit me with a PM, I have a very good friend that works for Mopar Distribution so I can get you some of the parts at cost...

as for the lights, I can get those too, or you can check Ebay for some used ones, mopar cost is $193.60 each.

Priceless. I will never understand why people feel the need to fake their car into something they do not own. That kind of insecurity must burn.
