How do you disable parking lights?

I saw somewhere that it's possible to disable the parking light, but have the turn signal still flash as normal by cutting one of the wires going to the bulb. Does anyone know which wire to cut? Are there any potential problems from doing this?

Use a test light to isolate the correct wire lead. As for potential problems, I would suspect that it would behave just the same as if the parking lamp side of the bulb had burned out, yet the second filament for the turn signal had not. Shouldn't be a problem, but then again with these cars, ya never know.

I did this mod because i have the k2 halos and hated the amber color turn signals with the halos. I cant remember which prong i cut, i think it was 1 of the middle metal prongs on the light. Ive had no problems with the lights at all after doing this and the light works everytime i use the turn signal. I would recomend doing this for anyone with halos
