I didn't want to say anything until I was 100% positive I was going. I did book the hotel a couple of weeks ago "just in case" and wanted to be on the event registry list as well. I was planning to fly down on a gratis standby ticket but being spring break and all flights are extremley full, meaning I would have had to try and get out of here a day or two early, still not knowing if even then I could get on a flight. So rather than chance anything I decided to book confirmed flights today... I look forward to attending the show and meeting everyone!

Now, being a Jeep guy, I expected you to say you'd be driving down in a brand new SRT8. I'm sure you'll be one popular guy down there RS, and about the beer...I'm buyin'!

Believe me, I thought about it, but just can't break away from work for the extra 3-4 days it would have taken.

Rambit is truly the man for driving the farthest...
I made that drive one way and knowing that I would have to go back...
no way...
home and life waiting...
it would suck...
Bernie, thanks for making it!!!
you definitely added to the event...
and getting Ralph's jacket wasn't too bad either was it?
Rambit is somewhere around Oklahoma probably tonight...
think of him in your thoughts for safe passage.
Sincerely,
cbutler32

Chris:

Actually I just pulled to Oklahoma City to try out a laptop I just bought today. Finally figured it out. I gotta read some stuff & get back to it. Sure not as much fun going this way though. Tell Danrealtor, my pal Ralph feels sorry for him for not getting the jacket. He told me to get word out that Dan can have his shorts. He only had a brown marker to use though. He drew some smokey burnouts on them too. Just like bedding the brakes puts material on the rotors, Ralph bedded his shorts for Dan...haha. No time to write anymore. VERY nice to have met you Chris and everyone for that matter. I''ll get to posting and properly thank everyone when I get home. See ya.

I'll cherish the shorts always. I'll have them matted and framed and add them to my SRT-8 Museum.
