Thanks for sharing Ed...
I think the Willow Springs event will be even more fun because we'll be hanging with some of the friendliest, craziest, most fun people you could hope to meet. Even though you're the "new kid on the block" in this group, I guarantee you'll feel at home with them. I can hardly wait to hear the tall tales that will come out of this, but I can already tell you how it ends... DanRealtor did NOT do it!

I haven't met Tim Herren yet, but Dr. Bob is passionate about this.
He approached me to ask if we could do an event together, and if the interest is there, he'd like to do this again yearly, possibly twice yearly.

Thumbs up The List is Updated at 22 Drivers

YippEEE...
Sleeper300 is in and we now have 22 on the drivers list!

If you're interested in driving this great course, please post here or send me a PM.
Because stuff happens, I will still take the names of Alternates in the event of an unforeseen dropout.

FYI:
Those of you marked as "In Process", but have not yet sent payment, need to ante up ASAP!

SPECTATORS:
Just a reminder that even though you choose not to enter as a driver, or could not get on the drivers list, doesn't mean you won't enjoy thiis track - The instructors will be running station wagon laps for anyone that wants to join in. (As many as they can fit in a car will be driven around the track by an instructor - no helmet necessary)

Talking 9/8/06

I am SO STOKED about this event! The caravan out with Moose, Meister, WagonDoc and me, the Track Day with my fellow "Spirited Driving" enthusiasts, trading paint, um, I mean not racing on the big Bad Ass Road Course, rocketing down the 2400 foot main straightaway into a 90 degree left hander, the fun, the adrenaline, the horsepower, the G forces, the smell of rubber brembo's and high test.....

Is it September 8th yet???

PS Payment sent last week, did Tim receive it?

Whats everyone gonna do for tires? I know my 22's gotta come off, Need some srt8 wheels for the day or something I got 4wks to figure it out.

Oh Yeah - NICE!!
I dont' want to scare off anyone - DanRealtor can confirm this - just be prepared to chew up some front tires.

These RSA's got some good rubbin' and I was taking it easy on the big sweepers.

Lets just hope it cools off out there for Sept. and not like this last week here in SoCal!
