Join up with other LX owners and enthusiasts for this year's 20th Annual MOPAR Atlantic Nationals May 20th and 21st at Old English Township Raceway in Englishtown, New Jersey. Drawing LX owners from as far north as Canada and as far South as the Carolina's, this years event will be nothing less than spectacular. We host dozens of LX events each year but this is the one event for 2006 you won't want to miss. With the awesome support of Englishtown Raceway, we will be provided with our own special parking and partying areas right up close to the action. We will have our own staging lanes for those that want to take their LX's out on this world-class track, along with our own late model MOPAR Muscle bracket in this year's HEMI Shootout! Come out to watch the big event, or better yet take part in it! The last West Coast LX Event this past March saw over 320 cars. Let's show those guys what the East Coast is all about.
Come join HHP in celebrating this great platform of Dodge and Chrysler vehicles. Big East Coast LX Meet participants will be given full access to the HHP parking and event area and entered in dozens of giveaways provided by HHP, our awesome supporting manufacturers and other participating venders. Giveaways will take place all weekend long and participants will meet and interact with attending major manufacturers and representatives that help to make these LX cars even more special. Through our close relationships with contributing manufacturers and sponsors, we will have everything provided for all of you from free lunch for the first 200 entrants to even more entertainment including our own DJ and MC and trophies! Registration carries a reasonable fee (see below) and all registration fees go directly to Englishtown Raceway to help subsidize track costs. We'll have trophies for countless show and race catagories, also. So hurry up and register!
Witness what happens when hundreds of LX owners and enthusiasts come together to share their passion for these vehicles and take part in the making of a new generation in muscle car history. We'll see you May 20th and 21st!

The schedule of events:
Friday Night:
We know that a lot of you guys will start showing up, as will we. For everyone that wants to get in some Friday Night drag racing under the lights, the track is open for the MOPAR vs. the World track night. Open class, time trials and all makes and models. We are planning on meeting up with everyone between 8 and 8:30pm at the Ramada in the lounge so if you're around we want to see you then for a kick-off celebration.
Saturday & Sunday:
We have our event scheduled from 10am until 5pm both days but you are more than welcome to come out earlier and stay much later. We actually recommend that everyone plans on arriving by 9am or earlier since it will take some time to make it into the track and we need to make sure we have enough parking.
LX Car Show Saturday:
You're automatically Registered for our LX Car Show. Voting will take place from noon to 2 pm and you will be judged by all of the other LX owners. Trophies will be awarded at three o'clock.
Trophies List:
Best In Class - Car Show (Saturday only)
1st Place - Car Show (Saturday only)
2nd Place - Car Show (Saturday only)
3rd Place - Car Show (Saturday only)
HHP Favorite Modified LX (Saturday only)
Avon Custom Wheels Best Wheels (Saturday only)
Best 1/4 Mile Time SRT-8 (Saturday & Sunday)
Best 1/4 Mile Time 5.7L HEMI LX (Saturday & Sunday)
Best 1/4 Mile Time V6 LX (Saturday only)
All trophies have been graceously donated by HHP!
Requirements For Racers:
There will be racing taking place all throughout the weekend and we hope that you take the oppurtunity to get your LX out there and blow away the competition. In order to race, cars must have mufflers and seat belts (draining the coolant is not required) and drivers must wear helmets (full-face Snell-approved for cars under 13.5s in the 1/4 mile). They do rent helmets at the track for three or four dollars so you don't need to go out and buy one if you don't already have one (Hey Dano, got yours?) Also, racers must wear long pants, a shirt with sleeves (t-shirt) and shoes are a must (no flip flops or sandals). You must be at least 17 years old to race but if you are 17, you must have a parent present to sign the waiver.
Admission Prices at Etown:
Pre-Registration for advanced tickets is over. BUT don't worry, admission tickets can be purchased the day of! Expect to pay $25.00 for your car w/ 1 driver to enter the event (tell the gate you're here for the "show"). If you choose to race expect to pay around $20 additional. Bracket races for the late model HEMI cars will take place both Saturday and Sunday.

There were a few cancellations. You guys have to make sure you tell Nano1908, RevDoctor, rhodyhemi and Grelf what they missed since they all had to back out for different reasons. Wish you guys could make it!
We've had a lot of last minute registrants so this list will keep going up. Register today and if you haven't registered (though we would apperciate it if you did register) still come on our, purchase a show ticket and join in the fun.
We'll see you this weekend. All of this info is also listed at www.LXEvents.com and if you have any questions, please email us at lxevents@yahoo.com.
FINALLY, Ive been waiting forever for this.
Thanks to all who helped into doing this anc cant wait til May.
Just so I know, but the Pre-Registration form edited by HHP has tio be filled out and mailed correct?
The sign up process is a two part process. We need you to sign up first (and most importantly) with our LXEvent team by emailing us at lxevents@yahoo.com with your info (name, screenname, # attending, hometown, email address) and part two of the sign up process involves mailing in the pre-registration form to Englishtown Raceway in order to get discounted admission tickets.
Tickets can also be purchased day of but they are more expensive. Englishtown requested that all admission tickets be handled directly through them and unfortunately they can only handle check payments. For future events, as our events continue to grow larger and larger we hope to be able to centralize the process so we can handle the ticket sales, too, and when we do this we'll be able to offer credit card and online ticket registration. What we're hoping for with this May's event is that Englishtown sees the big turnout we're going to have and for future events they'll agree that allowing us to handle our own ticket sales will save them a lot of time and make everything much easier for all parties involved.
Everything's looking great so far. We should have an initial count up tonight for the first day of registration. I think right now we stand at 17 cars so far - not bad for only half a day so far.
Get your registration in and spread the word. This is YOUR event! For YOU, put on by FORUM MEMBERS just like yourself and why? So everyone can get together with other owners who share the same experiences and love for these cars as you do. Words cannot describe the memories made at these events.
Help us to make this event the most spectacular one yet!
I got 2 Questions.
Well this one is pretty dumb, but My car would be considered Lightly Modded right?
2nd, I was just looking over the Pre-Registration Form and I just saw that there will be NO racing on Sunday. Is that true?
Saturday will be for race and show and Sunday will be for show only?
There is racing on Sunday. This form is confusing as anything even with us blocking out half of it. For racing on Sunday, the box to check is on the bottom right, under all the X'd out things.
The first round of registrants' names have been added to the original thread.
Thanks Josh for pointing that out.
Are there gonna be flyers for this event soon.
Maybe we can pass them out to our fellow LXers so we can get ALOT of cars at the meet.
Undecided right now which day I can attend. Had my vacation denide for may. Just got the word today April 11th. Really ticked off, planned taking the family to Disney World for the first time. Anyway I really want to attend and preregister, I'm just sure who I'm taking and which date. I guess it all depends on what day I can get off. Wish me luck guys!
