Montreal Meet, Feelings

Hi all, Just got back from the 8 hour ride from Montreal, first thing was to wash off all the bugs from the car, then sit behind the keyboard and let you know how it was IMO, First Carsten (Netsrac) did a outstanding job in his work leading up to this event, a lot of work goes into a great Meet such as this. Second for about 14 days it has rained in Montreal and on Friday, the day I traveled to Canada it rained like no tomorrow for the whole 8 hour trip but on Sat, the first day of the meet the sun came out and was wonderful weather! There was a very nice turnout with lots traveling great distances and all were very happy to attend. Carsten had spent a lot of time and money on the arrangements, such as 2 tents, great BBQ, gifts and prizes, also enough seating and he did a great job D.J.'ing. My wife and I meet some of the nicest people and will hopefully keep these friendships alive. After the meet there was a nice dinner at a great Rib Joint and Nite Club after that. Some of us old folks turned in after dinner because it was rise and shine at a 8:30 am trip to the drag strip. I will never forget the 10 Magnums and me in my 300C cruising through Montreal like the Hells Angels with cars that would pull over like we were the Kings of the road! O.K. that's it for now soon I will post my pics and hope others will post theirs and maybe the video of our rally through Montreal will appear! Hey Big Bob!

You are quickly becoming the king of distant M & Gs! That's really cool you are able to do so. Thanks for the report on this one in Montreal. I'm glad to hear you and your wife had a wonderful time and that Netsrac was the gracious, all-around host. I'm expecting you to drive out to the West Coast's2007 Spring Fling!

I agree with you on that one bigbob and it was nice meeting you by the way and everyone else of course, it was definately a weekend to remember , it was nice and sunny ,good food ,good music,nice prizes ,nice cars and of course great people ... awesome job on the organizing Carsten! See you all next year in good'ol MTL! Cant wait!!!

Hi HEMI MAN, nice to have met you, it was a good time in Canada, ....BTW..I loved what you did to your car, IMO...It was the best in show, I voted for you, although it was a tough call with the DUBSTER car there.

Thanks alot guys! , I really appreciate it!! Your cars were awesome as well,unique in their own ways,really loved that slammed look on your car dubster ,really sweet!!! And bigbob, those taillights are really growing on to me and i really liked your engine cover ...you made me wanna spend more money now!LOL, it seems like i'll never be able to save.Oh and by the way i voted for you BB , but it was a really tough decision for me as well as i had the same car in my head that you did , i must say dubster was looking mighty sleek!

I really like the blue Lamin-X on your head lights, I want to do that on mine. Were did you get that? I really like your engine cover too!!! You did very well with your ride too.
