Cruise for MS and other causes...

This weekend (Sat.) there will be a "Cruise for MS" in our town (Parkersburg, WV). No fee, just drive on in to our city park and enjoy some free food (donated by local Mexican eatery) and the music of a couple bands. Any donations accepted to fight MS.

Then there is a car show on Sun., sponsored by our local Chevy dealer to benefit a local Boy Scout Troop. $10 entry fee, most of which goes to the troop. First hundred folks get free Ts, and each car gets a picture taken as they come in. The picture becomes part of the trophy and prizes if your car is a winner for the show.

Come on down if you've nothing to do... I know this sort of thing goes on around the country... so what's happening in your neck of the woods?
