Still room for more participants.
Thanks for all your help promoting this event.

The list on post 2 has been updated to show how many slots are available before each group is considered FULL. We will accept entries until the group is full as shown. Then that's it for the track event. I don't expect those slots to last very long now.

We're planning to have the autocross session open to as many people as possible. Possibly even for same-day sign-ups, but that's not for certain. We still need about 35 pre-registations to ensure that session takes place. Then we can get more casual about it.

So send in those registrations, peoples!

The track sessions are already sold out. Don't miss out on this memorable day. We're gonna have a burnout competition, and a donut competition that afternoon as well.

There are still slots available in the autocross session. Sign up now!

The AutoCross/Car Control course information has been updated in the first post.

Take a minute to check it out if you haven't made up your mind yet about participating.

This will be a fantastic opportunity for everyone to do a little "performance driving" with their cars in a very safe environment. No experience is necessary. No special mods are needed for your ride. You won't trash your vehicle. Just turn up and have some fun.

Oh, you WILL be a better driver when you leave that afternoon.

Check it out.

If you have not made up your mind about attending our Track Experience yet, take a look at the first post again. Our Autocross event is a terrific opportunity to "get your feet wet" in motor sports, without banging up your ride.

We can now accept checks, as well as PayPal, for the entry fees.

Details in the first post.

Thumbs up Everyone needs this experience . . .

Autocrossing is the the best way to gain confidence and skill in handling a performance car. When you talk to "old pros" in the world of racing, most will tell you the same thing.

Running one car at a time on a huge tarmac with nothing to hit but a small plastic cone allows a driver to push his or her car out to its physical limits. Once there, you learn that you can go beyond those first limits with training, patience and skill.

This is the art of mastering car control. If we want our roadways safer, every driver should be required to pass a test on an autocross course.

BTW: Last year, acting on a bet, I demonstrated that the LX platform with ESP in the sport mode cannot be rolled on an autocross course. You can slide; you can do donuts; you can lay rubber; but 3 very experienced drivers could not roll my 300C, no matter how hard they tried. Each had 2 C-notes riding on the outcome - and they tried hard.

I spent my winnings replacing tires . . .
