Sears Point/Infineon MOPAR event 6/7/08

How many are going?

I've got an idea to make this more interesting and fun.

Why don't we have a contest amongst ourselves with cash winnings? Everyone who participates puts in like $10 or so. I'll volunteer to track the results that day.

These are the categories that we can set up to cover everyone racing with divisions for SRTs, RTs and V6s where appropriate (power related results):

Best reaction time
Best 60 foot street tires
Best 60 foot DRs (and slicks?)
Best trap speed with bolt-ons (intake/exhaust/tune)
Best trap speed with power adders (SC/turbo/stroker)
Lowest ET with bolt-ons
Lowest ET with power adders

Granted this doesn't cover everyone but it's close. A "stock" class is possible but possibly quite small and tough to enforce (weight reduction, tune. etc). Could still be eligible for the first 2 classes however.

So what do you all think?

Damn I didn't even know about this show/race and I live literally 10 minutes away from Sears Point aka Infineon. I would have raced or shown my '6' but just tarded it in 3 weeks ago for a HEMI. I have lots of work to do before I'm race or show ready but defintley keep us posted on any future MOPAR events. Car looks great rsmeanie

Awesome. I don't think that strut brace will clear the manifold with spacers, will it?

It would be a tight fit with manifold spacers. I know some guys have used washers under the strutbar mount to get a little more clearance.
