It's taken a while for me to get this uploaded and cropped, etc. Unfortunately I either took pictures while the folks weren't at their cars (because I was always or otherwise running up for track time trials)...
Here's Chuck Green (aka Cherry) holding a drivers meeting in front of the control tower at National Trails Raceway before any of the event racing started...
This is the first side-by-side race of the number-matching 1971 Challenger and a new Challenger SRT8... The 1971 took off like a bat out of you no where, but by the end of the quarter the new Challenger was the winner... it was fun to watch.
Another shot of the staging for another side-by-side switching lanes.
This was the top fuel dragster... he never got in a full run because the track conditions didn't let him get more than halfway down the track before he had to let off the gas... he still ran sub-10 sec... WOW.
Now for car shots...
Closer up of the green halos...
Look at the rims on this Maggie...
DeafCharger's 402 Motoring magic...
These flames are made with irridescent paint that changes color depending on the angle of view...
Nathan's awesome ride all the way from TX...
You don't know how many times I had to take this picture before I could get the right angle to actually capture the ghost flames... it was the same for the eyes. Most amazing paint job...
Here's Skeletonizer's 300C SRT8...
He must of been plumb tuckered out...
This was a shot while I was mistakenly (because I ran so slow) in the staging lanes for the "Quick 16"... I got into the 2nd round only because I ran against no one in the first round! LOL
One of my bracket buddies during time trial test running...
EricG's 300C SRT8 getting ready to for a bracket run...
Some shots from the LX Extreme Conversion reveal...
Anthony (aka TurboBuckeye) handing out a couple special shirts to Brad and his family...
