I'll post at LX forums (Hemi cred...lol) I prefer end of August as I'll be gone the other dates you mentioned. Saturdays are fine no worries. I am not good for planning these so I really don't want to take on any duties, but happy to stir the pot! Typical right....

We went to a place like that in Bentonville, AR while on vacation. VERY GOOD, but pricey. However, Berkely Sprins is just under 4 hours from here, and Harpers Ferry almost 5 hours... so that's way to far for us... clear over here on the OH River.

Green Field is a great Brazilian churrascaria in Rockville MD. If you've never been to one, it's basically an orgy of meat. Great buffet and the waiters walk around and around with skewers of meat and will keep feeding you steak, sausage, chicken, pork, lamb, etc... until you flip over your table marker form green (FEED ME) to red (MOOOO!) We've been there a couple times already and my wife is Brazilian...so that's all the recommendation I need!! Nice place, all you can eat for only $27(dinner), drinks, dessert and tips not included. They can acommodate large parties with reservations.

I hear ya man! I have done that this year already. I went to NJ and stopped in to see Ernie and family at ACW in Feb. (it was Super Bowl weekend even). Perhaps you missed my thread about the 3-week 7k mile vacation during which we met Fohn_Jargo, albeit briefly, in Bella Vista, AR and with DanRealtor, fatchance, Might Noid, 1bad4dr, Ozzie and lots of LXers in Scottsdale, Beach Burger, and even a few at Gary Kouba's detail shop in Chicagoland. And we did go to Columbus two weeks ago (2 hours one way). We are going back to S. Calif. in two weeks for another two weeks for a family wedding after which I will have only 1/2 day vacation remaining in 2006 (waaaaahhh!). We (well, I) have been talking about a 3 hour trip to Pittsburg, but any further than that is just out for us until next year. Just the way it is with what I can see of our schedule for the next several months. I ain't ignoring the rest of the Mid-Atlantic region... just can't get over to the east side (from the west side) any time soon.
