What does everyone say about this coming Saturday Aug 26 to Hilltop Hotel at Harpers Ferry? Who can make it?
Or Sat Sep 2- Labor Day weekend, though some folks may have plans already.

I'm good for that weekend, and happy to share about the FATT sessions at Summit Point! My avatar is from a track day.

Another OPTION for a another date

Oops been away for a bit..I am good for the 26th- Harpers Ferry is good for me.
IF YOU ALL WANT TO- I have a cabin on the Greenbriar River in S. West VA. (about 15 mls West of the famous Greenbriar Resort) that sleeps about 16 (double bunk spring beds). It's right ON the river, tubing is required

About 45 minutes away is the absolutely fantastic 5+ whitewater rafting on the Gaulley River.

A terrific road trip might be to head down to the cabin (very scenic mountain trip), crash that night - whitewater the next day and roll out..

I would want a big group to run if we did this- it could even be an Oct trip.

Last Oct. we took our first road trip in our '05 300C as a 400 mile loop through the state on Oct. 15 (Bridge Day). We ate at the Glenn Ferris Inn on the Gauley, and then went over to Summersville (avoided the New River Bridge crowds) and then went over to the Radio Observatory and ended up at Seneca Rocks just after the visitor center had closed (4 pm on a Sat.)... so there wasn't enough time to hike much before we headed back. Had a nice meal at UNO's pizzaria in Clarksburg, and then came home in the dark. All in all... 13 hours of beautiful driving, fall colors and relaxing in a 300C. Now that we have the Heritage Edition... I'm kind of thinking to reproduce a day like that this fall.

In love with my first wife and first car ('68 Charger) ... still have the wife, but now there's the Heritage Edition and a Magnum SRT8!

Ken- That sound awesome! Count me and my son in for that before it gets to cold though.
