List for Aug 26 Wegmans Sterling to Harpers Ferry

10:30 AM Meet at Dulles Wegmans parking lot (same as Jan M&G)
11:00 AM Drive to Harpers Ferry, WV
Maryland folks will probably want to drive straight there
12:15 arrive at Hilltop Hotel
12:30 Lunch Buffet
1:30 Talk & Coffee
3:30 Drive to Harpers Ferry Visitor Center Parking lot
Take shuttle bus to Harpers Ferry
"Harpers Ferry National Historical Park is located at the confluence of the Potomac and Shenandoah rivers in the states of West Virginia, Virginia, and Maryland. George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Meriwether Lewis, John Brown, "Stonewall" Jackson, and Frederick Douglass are just a few of the prominent individuals who left their mark on this place."

Or if you've walked through the town before, head home!

Definite:
1. Ken Lally - 2?
2. CRHEMI - Bill 3?
3. Rickgonz - Rick 1
4. USGAONE -1
5. ...

Lunch there is so-so.... the view are real nice! And on the way back you can hit the wineries! So I had a pretty fun day- I recommend it for our cruise or, of course skyline later on..

That's good to know, they claim they have the best view of the joining of the two rivers. I've been to Harpers Ferry and Bolivar but have not been to the hotel yet. Did you go antiquing in Bolivar, or take the shuttle to the town?
