Dieter Zetsche to open Wash DC Auto Show

Zetsche will speak at the Wash DC breakfast Jan. 23 that opens the car show Jan 24-27, unfortunately only for media folks. Speech will be about new car technologies and the global auto industry.
The show is mainly by the area dealers showing off their 2007 offerings with a few concept cars here and there that aren't scheduled for Detroit or other shows. Camp Jeep is going to be there, and there's also a custom/mods section. Oh yeah for guys who go for that kind of thing - the Wizards dance team and the Redskinettes will be on jan 24 Wed night, not that I would be interested

It would be interesting to hear him speak and what he has to say about that kind of stuff. The rest of the show could be interesting, but to tell you the truth I would rather see Dubster’s Bakerettes than the Redskinettes. The Bakerettes give so much more! Thanks for the information!

i plan on going. i've been going to the DC auto show for a good 15 years.

the whole camp jeep thing kinda freaks me out. driving THAT many vehicles indoors has to build up more than normal levels of carbon monoxide/dioxide.

i'll take pictures and post them on the forum. i got some sick ones last year of a magnum with a 300 front end, a couple of dub edition cars, and LX police cars that were at the show.
