I looked at that, but I think it's about the same, and my gearhead buddy has a son in Charlotte. And it would be further south (might be critical at this time of year!).

I'm over on the Ohio River at I-77, and it takes 3 hours just to get to Cumberland, MD.

I am only going since the VCA club members get a 50% discount, so for $250 clams you cannot beat the SRTTE. I really want to drive the Jeep and refresh my self on the Viper's limits. Hopefully this event will let us take the 300s out on the road course. Last time I went it was a maggie and the Viper but no 300s on the road course.
Under the new format with Richard Petty, guests got to ride with instructors. They didn't get to drive, but got more track time that we did - LOL .

The more I've read about the SRTTE, the mor eI am fully prepared to walk away if I am bored. Let's see, I've spent $0.00 on thi sso why not go see what it's about, besides, I have 4 track days at Summit Point under my belt in the SRT, and I know how fast I got upto on the back straight, interested to see how fast they get it going.

Now the real question, who wants to sign up to do a FATT at Summit Point, drive your car with instruction! at speed! with passing allowed in certain areas...... nothing better then blowing the doors off a M3 on the straight! Trust me from experience!

I guess you are saying you're going.... we'll see you there, it should be fun, at least if beating up on SRT's cars bores you, you'll still be hanging with some enthusiasts like yourself. I cannot wait to drive the jeep. (I have driven everything else).
See ya on Sunday-

ouch Sunday?...I'm going Saturday! Sunday I am headed to the hills to go offroading. I have driven the jeep and it is fun, just don;t understand why they put the pipes in he middle, I could have justified buying it as a toy hauler! Anyone going Sunday? Also anyone signing up for FATT at Summit? friend of mine and I are registering for the April 20th and May 11th dates. Let me know if anyone else is in?
