What a terrible thing to happen! Again glad to hear no one was hurt. Thanks Rick for the heads up on this unfortunate event. Way to go forum members for being there on the assist!

We are both very lucky, nobody was hurt. As I said to mrs. whiskey on the scene, there were a thousand different ways that situation could have ended, and nobody was hurt in this one.

Thanks again to all of you for your support! When we start getting progress shots from the body shop, I will post details here.

As mentioned on the other forum, I am glad Mrs Whiskey is ok and no one was injured! I also wanna thank everyone for stopping... I know I scared alot of the Chargers when I slammed on the brakes and pulled off!

Only one thing I would like to add that is a little off topic and I hope you all dont see it as a flame thread... but the Ambulance DID NOT CAUSE this accident. I was running down the shoulder to the scene (had already seen Mrs Whiskey's accident in my rear view). As I was running down the shoulder, the Ambulance pulled out and passed me....I gave the WTF face cause I couldnt believe the ambulance was leaving the accident! Anyways everyone is ok, just dont want the EMS to get a bad name, I am a very proud EMT.

Me too, that was really strange. I guess when you are off the clock, thats it, regardless of what happens. I thought at first that maybe there was someone inside. But I was told by a byestander that there was NO emergency transport in progress....

I will give him the benifit of the doubt (and not taking sides with Ambulance personell by the way) and say after they saw Ms whiskey get out of her SUV, maybe they felt that there was no need for assistance and left.

This is just speculation though. I have seen people in shock get up and walk with broken bones and not realize it. So, me pesonally I would have thought that it would have been a wise thing to check Ms Whiskey out first before I left if I was the one behind the wheel of the Ambulance, but that is just my way of thinking. The only one who really knows why the Ambulance left the seen without offering assistance would be the driver.

Waiting around was the least of our concerns- We were more worried for you Mrs. Whiskey. As us Marines say- Leave no man (Woman) behind, we were not just going to leave you guys there until we were sure that you were taken care of. Hope to see you guys again for another cruise and I can't wait to see that SWEET SRT8 G.C.

Good Luck
