Hey Mrs. Whiskey! I'm glad to hear that you and your GC are ok! I was in the black 300C (the only female there in a 300)! Welcome to the forums!

Me too, that was really strange. I guess when you are off the clock, thats it, regardless of what happens. I thought at first that maybe there was someone inside. But I was told by a byestander that there was NO emergency transport in progress....

I will give him the benifit of the doubt (and not taking sides with Ambulance personell by the way) and say after they saw Ms whiskey get out of her SUV, maybe they felt that there was no need for assistance and left.

This is just speculation though. I have seen people in shock get up and walk with broken bones and not realize it. So, me pesonally I would have thought that it would have been a wise thing to check Ms Whiskey out first before I left if I was the one behind the wheel of the Ambulance, but that is just my way of thinking. The only one who really knows why the Ambulance left the seen without offering assistance would be the driver.

Actually we were discussing this at the scene.... ONCE an Ambulance or Fire Truck are DISPATCHED to a call... They have to report to that call before they can take ANY other call.... I remember one time I was on an Ambulance and we had to respond to a stomach ache.... When we left the station, another call 2 blocks away was dispatched for a CPR In progress and we couldnt go! Its tough and in my opinion, is all politics! lol

How is the Jeep coming Mrs Whiskey???

The jeep is at the repair shop, parts have started coming in. The return date is scheduled for the 8th, but since the bumper and grille wont arrive untiil early next week, meeting this date will be difficult at best.

I will post updates as I get them. I might stop by this afternoon to check on progress....

Let me add a "me too". From the postings I've read on this forum since I've joined, it doesn't surprise me one bit that people stayed to support you. People are respectful and caring here and I'm proud to belong.

The Jeep made it home last night! The body man even put clearcoat on the underside of the hood and around the top radiator support.

The thing looks fabulous, and Jennifer is very happy to have her Jeep back.

I will take some pics of the Jeep when I get home this afternoon, I should have them posted by tomorrow!

Thanks again to everyone!
