Southern Maryland "BACK TO SCHOOL" M&G Aug 23rd W/"MOD CORNER" and Cruise!

Hey everyone!! Its time for an end of the summer Meet and Greet to wrap up the summer and bring in the fall season!! Prince Frederick Dodge has kindly granted up permission to have a "Back to School" meet and greet Saturday August 23rd from 10AM till 2PM. As usual we will have free food for everyone so bring your appetite!

For this Meet and Greet we will have the first 'MOD CORNER' for all you MOD crazy guys. Our new Sponsor MARYLANDSPEED will host the MOD CORNER with a PREDATOR installation exericise!!! At 10:45am I will announce that the MOD CORNER will begin and everyone can watch MARYLANDSPEED do a Predator install on one of their high performance cars, JOIN US! - THIS will be awesome!!!

Since this is the "BACK TO SCHOOL" event we are going to ask everyone who participates in the Meet and Greet to please bring a NEW back to school item. Items will include paper, pencils, notebooks, back packs and all the other school items children in need use for school. When you arrive please bring your new school item to the BACK TO SCHOOL MINI VAN and we'll load it up!! All these BACK TO SCHOOL ITEMS will benefit the CALVERT COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT!!!

OK, here is the run down of the event:

1) The Meet and Greet will run from 10am to 2pm with a Cruise to SOLOMONS ISLAND for an Exhaust CONTEST.

2) There will be free food!! Hotdogs and Hamburgers with drinks will be available for all to chow down!!

3) From 10:45am on there will be a MOD CORNER hosted by MARYLANDSPEED that you CAN NOT MISS!!!! Come on out and see how the PREDATOR IS INSTALLED and how it works!!

4) Like always we will have a 50/50 raffle. This time proceeds from the raffle will benefit local BOY SCOUTS TROOP 403. They need our HELP BIG TIME to get funds to buy needed supplies like tents and other infrastructure items, please help out!! Tickets will be 1 for a dollar and 6 for 5 bucks.

5) DOOR PRIZES!!!!! For the first time we will be offering Door Prizes handled by our new Sponsor MARYLANDSPEED!! The following door prizes will be given away:

10 - 180 Degree Thermostats and a MARYLANDSPEED T-SHIRTs
2 - $50 Gift Certificates

This is awesome that MARYLANDSPEED is with US!!!!!!!! Please join us for some Super Fun!!

6) BEST IN SHOW contest. We plan on having one class for the entire show this time around. There will be a 1st, 2nd and 3rd show winner!! Polish em up!!!!

7) The Dealership will have a MOPAR paraphernalia table with T-Shirts, Caps and so on, please check it out near the CONTROL TABLE. All items will be discounted.

8) At 2pm put your driving gloves on and join us for a Cruise to SOLOMONS ISLAND!! The route will be announced at the last minute and we will provide you with a MAP. After we do our parade thru SOLOMONS we will end up at the HOLIDAY INN for an EXHAUST CONTEST and PHOTO SHOOT!!

9) To WRAP up the day we will have another RALLY NORTH to a fine water front restaurant!!! I will announce the Restaurant Shortly!!

To CLOSE there will be NO RAIN DATE, but I know it will be sunny and perfect the day of the meet.

Guess I will post this since I have not seen one yet. We will meet up at the McDonald's on Rt 3 in Crofton for our caravan down to Southern Maryland. Please be there prior to 8:30. We had 10+ car's on the last caravan and most everyone was there a bit early to hang out and grab some grub before heading down.
