Where was I last week?

So I left the PC at home last week and the wife and I went to her dad’s beach house in OBX, NC

OBX is a series of islands. The most famous city on the islands is Kitty Hawk (2 wrong’s don’t make a right, but 2 Wright’s did make an airplane).

The north portion of the main island is only reachable via 4wd on a beach road. This area is inhabited by wild horses. We rented a Jeep for the day to reach this area.

Good trip and nice pictures. I also took a little ride from Western Pa to Vermont this week. Got 25.4 on the way to VT and 25.2 on the way back using EVIC (close enough). Cannot complain at all about the mileage on the Hemi. 89 octane was 3.29 here and 3.71 on the NY thruway. Ouch!

Never heard of the OBX Islands! I learn something new everyday around this forum.

Beautiful photos. Those are definitely some wealthy-looking beach homes. Thanks for sharing the photos.

Bruno, They are more commonly known as the Outer Banks. A lot of other people just say Hatteras which is only one town towards the end of the string Ocracoke being the last in the chain. Great fishing(gulf stream runs in close to Cape Hatteras). Known to be REAL dangerous waters. It is a nice quiet get-away spot
