Hi to all, I was invited to come here and to be honest the one reason I took up the invitaion is that I'm crazy about the 300c. I own a 2003 GT Turbo Cruiser, and I'm the Vice President of the Chicagoland PT Cruiser Club. I also own Perfect Auto Finish, a high end state of the art detailing facility in Roselle IL. I have started something that may be of interest to this group. I started the areas first ever auto detailing clinics. I have completed over 160 of them and the public has expressed great interested in them YOu can see the schedule on my web site here www.perfectautofinish.com just click open detailing classes. I also wanted to know if the Chicago 300C club has monthly meetings, if anyone can let me know that would be helpful. I make guest appearances at car club meetings and talk about the secrets of the pro's in regard to the latest technology in car care. Actually, HEMEE, it's a photo of Ben, my buddy, who died this past Dec. 10th, at the age of 9. He was very special. The photo helps me keep him in my heart.

I had seen your site over at AutoTopia. Thats a nice site you got there. I had been looking around for info to getting rid of the spider webs the dealer put into my 300. I did get a nice PC DA but the weather turned to cold before i got a chance to use it.
I'm the IL Club leader and so far were moving kind of slow.As for meetings we have yet done any! Were officaly starting the Club 300 on Febuary 1st. The only real set thing is Chicago Auto show on Feb 19th at 4pm by the Chrysler Booth.( more details are coming) I think mostly we have been waiting for the warmer weather to roll out. There is also the World of Wheels the 28th thou the 30 of January were are club founder Tommyz will be at with his custom 300. Were a new group so things will be slow to start.
So welcome and we hope that you can make it out to see some of the Midwests 300'rds and give us some tips.

Scarbrs, my shop is on Lake, just east of Gary Ave, I would be interested when you guys get together on speaking to your group on detailing. Your PC will NOT remove swirl marks, The motion of the PC does not create heat needed to break down the compounds in order to cut or level the paint. The Newest machine on the market is the DeWalt 443 DAPC heavy duty, it does incredible work. If you want to me detail your car I will take care of you.
