Eric,

I am not sure I will be able to attend this, that is the day after we close on our home. Also it says its $95 per vehicle, any idea why so much?

I hope your closeing goes well.
The price at least last year inclued entrance to the Six Flags and a live concert of Brian Setzer and fire works.Plus all the Chrysler cars and test drives and stuff they had was great. Gary can tell you how great it was he won best in show with his PT.

PS James i would love to come to that thing in MO on june 11 but we already have a vaction planed to fly to SanFran.

Gang,

Sharon and I will not be able to make it. That weekend is spoken for and the following weekend we will be in Columbus for a "Z" get together.

Sorry,

Mike/Sharon

Thumbs up

Looking at what happened it worked great, good for the family, need to remember the kids and wives(I have 2),,, Another state park deal would be great, maybe a short cruise somewhere would be fun,,, the Cleveland deal looks great for people that are close but its hard to do a 4 hour drive one way on a one day event.

I know the site is young and more and more nuts like us will sign up and soon in our future hopefully we will have a 2 or 4 day event, not to hard to do, I have done this in the past, think we had 38 cars, had cruise, dinner together, racing, laps around tracks like Texas Speedway, but as I said before this is for the future. Not to brag, for an event some of us did I myself raised over 10k in prizes.

One dayerrrrsssssss are better tough, mostly local people maybe willing to spend a day relaxing and not so far from home maybe a couple of hours.

State parks are always a winner. If anyone close by needs any help I will be there if needed.

Good job to everyone, either being a passenger to whom put this Last meet on.

I Just wish I was there.

Would anyone be up for a meet in St.Louis in mid August? There is a great road here to cruise, called the Great River Road go figure. Maybe we could find a park for lunch again then go cruise that, and downtown by the arch for some pictures. Its just an idea, everyone let me know what you think! Maybe like August 13 (Saturday) or August 14th (Sunday).

I didn’t mean for this to be the official second meeting. It was a suggestion.
I really don’t want to go to Cleveland. Maybe a national thing is what that could be. But yea it's not a one-day thing for sure.
Ok I got this think here in Waukegan July 7'th8 and 9th called scoop the loop that draws in lots of classic cars. I have been going for a couple years but i have never had a car in it. Check out the site, it's just a suggestion.
http://www.scooptheloop.com/home.html

Maybe if my street is finished we could come back to my place for a cook out.(They started to redo the street today. B/C is not leaving her garage for a while.)

James i like your idea, again it would have to be a weekend for me that a bit of a drive.

So lets have this thread be the official spot to plan the second meet.
What does every one have in mind.

I'm cool with both of those, the July 7-9 idea and the St Louis August 13 or 14 thang.
I'd love to co-host one here in the STL. We could even plan to hit gateway raceway and run some if you guys want to.
I'm gonna run mine tusday night, see if I can't beat 14 flat, then do it again next tuesday night with headers and a magnaflow kit and see if I can't do better than mid 13s.
Otta be a blast. I've never done it before.
well, not legally, anyway.

Jamesw,

The Great River Road is a great idea. I know several of the Street Rods Clubs in the STL area have used that road for their cruise's before and everone that I have talked to really enjoyed it. I have been told that there is a park somewhere along it also that we could have a picnic at. Why don't you do some more checking into it and then let all of us on the form know what you find out. I also like the Drag racing idea. We may want to make a 2 day event out of it. The August time frame sounds good also as it will give you guys down there time to put it together.

We went to a park here in St.Louis today called Creve Coeur Park, well anyways if enough people would like to come down on the 13 or 14th of August I would be more than happy to reserve this pavillion. I do not have time right now, but when I get off work tonight I will post pictures of the park. It is $75 for the day, but also I was thinking we would only be there for 2-4 hours, then off to the cruise. Just let me know what everyone would like to do.
