Cobblestone Natls in St. Charles

I figured I would see a few of you there today. I was the only LX in the house (except for a charger from a dealership) out of over 400 cars.
What a pretty day for a show. I saw the nicest nova I have ever seen and more groovy pre 70 Camaros than you could shake a stick at.
I had been there a few hours when judges came up asking where my dash plaque and entry number was. Wha??? I dunno, man. I just paid 20 bucks and rolled up where they told me to. They sent me to some tent where I was told the registration deadline had passed. wha??? So much for spending 4 hours detailing. I didn't get bent out of shape over their disorganization though. My entry fee was refunded, I saw cool rides and had the best parking space of any spectator there.
I did manage to get some great footage and a couple of interviews to add to the stock pile.
Got a lil sunburn, my kids scarfed some funnle cake.
it's all good.

Ok i didnt think i missed a show there. I go to Kane County Fair Grounds in St Charles IL at least 3 times a year for toy shows. Anyone know of any car shows in IL. Not that B/C is going they just ripped up my drivway today for at least 10 days.UGH

I'm like 10 minutes from St. Chucks. Bloomington Gold Corvette show it what they're really known for

As far as other car shows there a plethora of web sites you can check by just doing a google search. I like Hemmings, on the right under "events."

in st. charles we now have this Augustino's "rock and roll" deli, up by the menards on 59 and north (those who are local will know where I referring to), they have a lot of small "shows". they are right next to a steak and shake as well, both have had small shows in the past.

heck almost every saturday last year that steak and shake had something going on. should be even better now with Augustinos open.

Hey man, I'm definitely going to be there this summer. Steak and Shake has their shows every 2nd and 4th Tuesday, and Augustino's has them every 1st and 3rd Tuesday.
