I went to this since it was local and i know a few of the guys helping out.

My wife and i took out both are cars. Her's is a 02 Mini Cooper. It was a slow start to the show but it was a good one, they fed us. There was about 20 cars mostly Tunners and one old timmer with his vintage Olds Cutlass convertible. I made a call and my buddy with his Mazda 3 tunner came out too. We all had a good time and they even had awards. It was sponsored on by the Phi Theta Kappa Honors Society, this was there first one. They were having a conferance on Pop culture and wanted to have a Car show to cap off the conferance. Next Years should be bigger if they do it again they got some good idea's from us on how a show should run. At any rate they judged ore cars on differnt things like rims interior engine and exterior and best of show. I won 1st in Rims and 2nd In best of show. My wife was unhappy she didnt win Rims even thou she heard 1 of the judges trying hard to sell the rest on her's. She would have won untill this Infinity SUV pull's up on 22" Dubs that stood out. It won 3 diffent wards but it was a Show Stopper for sure.
I gave out a few Card one of the guys in the Club had a Magnum so i made sure he got 2.
The Old timmer talked my ear off about the Magnum. He is renting one to take it to Maine for his 450th Bomber squad Reunion. The Cotton Tails. It was nice to talk to a WW2 Hero. He won Best engine, he was so proud he didnt expect anything this was his project car and it was in unrestored condition. Everyone gave him a long round of applause. I think the CLC racer Club is talking about haveing there own show this year I let you all know what they do.
