Pictures from the first Minnesota LX Meet!

It started out as a cloudy day and ended up being perfect! A large number of people that said they would come didn't show, but we still had a great time getting to know eachother and talking shop. I wouldn't mind making this a much more regular event!

I was first on the scene with my 2005 Magnum R/T. Only "mods" so far: 20% front tint, debadged, and replaced rear 6x9s.

Around noon, DJJT arrived with his black and beautiful 2005 300 Touring, rolling on 22-inch chrome.

Next to arrive was a fellow Magnum owner, Chris. He has a 2005 with big black 22s and a K&N CAI!

A pleasant suprise: Brenda from Luther Dodge showed up with a red 2006 Charger R/T from the lot!

The first group shot...

Brenda had to leave to go sell some cars, but to take her place was Monkey from the LXforums. He showed with his wife in their 2005 black Magnum. It looked suspiciously like mine... but with a ton of little mods. He had the front windows tinted a bit, painted brakes, paint-matched engine shroud (22elite), paint-matched mudflaps and spoiler, leather armrest (22elite), chrome valve covers, and 2006 badging. The highlight was probably the mirror... too bad that's MY reflection, I'm NOT a loser! There may have been more, I don't remember...

Another group shot, from left to right:
DJJT, Chris, yours truly, Monkey

Interesting little quirk about my 2005. It shares several fixes and features of the 2006 model, like this handy gas cap cable holder. Thanks to DJJT for pointing it out to me! I was sick of resting the cap on the paint!!

Now it's time for a cruise around Calhoun! Chris, lead the way!

Back at the lot, I made my first donut! I didn't really see it in action, but I guess it made a lot of smoke! I had some molten rubber inside my wheel-well after that...

Monkey left us, so it was the Triple Threat of me, DJJT, and Chris. We crossed the street to Chipotle and gorged... in sight of our cars, of course.

After our late lunch, we were about to leave and then... Marcus arrived in his thoroughly pimped out 2006 300C! Better late than never!

It was a limited showing, but a powerful one! Thanks to all that came out, hopefully we can do it again before summer is over. Those of you that did NOT show up... Just try to make it next time please!

I have all the original 7.2 megapixel shots (3-4MB) so if you want one, PM me with an e-mail address that can handle it.

Whether or not Brenda's boss will approve, she left with style! It's a WMV video in a ZIP-compressed file to prevent excessive leaching...

Sorry we missed it. We didn't get to the dealership until 5pm. Our Middle child scratched his cornea, so we were at the hospital most of the mid day.

We did finally get out with the new 300C that evening. We'll definately catch this next time.
