[Testimonial mode=GoofyTimL]

Gary provided a condensed version of one of his seminars at his shop on Mother's Day Sunday no less, this last spring for a mini-M&G of LXers organized by Scarbrs (Eric) in honor of our passing through Chicagoland during our 3-week driving tour of the US in our Heritage Edition. It was VERY informative and the passion that Gary has for detailing, discovering and delivering excellent products, and explaining technique literally "shined" through! I can only imagine what a formal 2 hr seminar like this would be like.

Bring your pencils and paper! If you live anywhere near Roselle/Oak Forest, IL and can make the drive, I would encourage you to contact Gary and attend this session. You and your ride may never be the same again.

Gary, I learned this last week that my first cousin in Rockford is getting remarried Oct. 21, 2006. I haven't made final travel plans, but it is possible I would be driving up in our '05 Midnight Blue, specifically because it needs your touch. IF I do, I hope I could leave it with you on Sat. morning for a full day of detailing and swirls removal, etc. The only problem is that I would have to pick it up, probably late Sunday morning for the return trip to WV. I'll PM you if/when we make the driving decision.

I looked at flight info yesterday and it appears I can't get there by plane at the times I require for under $150-200. Besides that it's a two hour drive to Columbus, then a two hour wait, then a 1.5 hour gate to gate time... that's nearly 6 hours and I can drive it in just over 8 without the TSA getting involved!

So I'm planning to drive. However, there is no way to get there by 6pm on the 20th. I'd be leaving here after work, say 4:00pm earliest, and that puts me into Chicagoland around 11pm central or later.

Jon would have to come with me on Sat. morning to drop the car off, then we would come back sometime on Sunday morning, or early afternoon to pick-up the car. I would leave for home again from the car pick-up.
