Mopar Performance Headers

Some interesting news was leaked out to us. The Mopar Performance Engineers have received a prototype LX body HEMI Headers. The are doing some research and development on these to make sure they are up to their standards. They will be doing alot of testing with these, so you can be assured that they will work properley, and be optimized to work with your car and all of its functions. These are hopefully to be released after the first of the year. As we find out more, we will keep you updated.

Ted

Well, Yes I do have some additional information. There is going to be 2 versions released. A short header is scheduled to be released in May, and the long headers are scheduled for July. That is the only information I have been able to dig up on these at this time.

Ted,
What's the difference between the short and long headers and also will they fit the AWD?
Thanks,
Bruce

Bruce,
The short headers are just exhaust manifold replacements. The long headers will replace the manifolds, and the front pipe assembly as well. As for wether or not they will fit the AWD, we have no information at this time. We should be able to find out more as this project gets closer to being released.
